LOUIS VUITTON VERNIS ROSE VELOURS IKAT POCHETTE ACCESSORIES NM (2013) BAG

Inspired by the sun-drenched Mediterranean, the Monogram Ikat line showcases an Ikat floral print throughout the Monogram Vernis embossed coated leather.

This style of patent leather monogram embossed bags are named Vernis as the French word for varnish is “vernis”.  Vernis leather was introduced by Marc Jacobs in 1998. The leather is coated to give the bag a shiny look.

The bag is made of calfskin monogram embossed vernis leather. The bag features brass hardware, top zip closure, vachetta detail, and a matching pink woven fabric interior with a slip pocket.
